About Us

ABOUT US

Something about us from a little bit of different perspective

Welcome to Neurosurgery Medical Associates, a practice presided over by board-certified neurosurgeon Jeffrey H. Oppenheimer, M.D. Based out of South Florida, our treatment providers are patient-focused and ready to explain every possible course of action. We listen to our patients and treat them with the utmost respect, care, and compassion.

All diagnoses and treatment options are thoroughly discussed with patients so they can make informed decisions and take a partnership role on the path toward their well-being. At Neurosurgery Medical Associates we focus on non-surgical treatments as an initial step in patient care.  Surgery is typically recommended when an individual has failed to respond to conservative care and their symptoms significantly impact their activities of daily living.

A surgical procedure is recommended only when non-operative treatments have been exhausted or when the severity of the symptoms disrupts the patient’s ability to function. Once the patient chooses a treatment option, our team works together to ensure that only the highest quality of care is provided.
